Bonnie Kay is a philanthropist and an animal lover and she has had a huge impact on animal welfare in our community. She sees animal welfare as a social justice issue.

In addition to adopting physically challenged and other needy cats, Bonnie supports animal welfare efforts in Tucson that include Cody’s Friends, AWASA, The Hermitage and Friends of PACC.
She has established a fund through the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona that funds ASAVET, a desperately needed (and appreciated) mobile spay and neuter clinic.
